Dato' Wira Ku Nahar was born in Sungai Petani, Kedah on 27 October,
1947. His early education began at Ibrahim Primary School from 1955
to 1960. He continued his studies at Ibrahim Secondary School a
year later until 1965. He was offered to further his secondary education
at the Sultan Abdul Hamid College for another 2 years. Upon completion,
he enrolled in the University of Malaya where he graduated with
a Bachelor of Arts in Geography in 1970.

(D.S.D.K.) and Darjah Kebesaran Gemilang Seri Mahkota Kedah Yang
Amat Dihormati (D.G.M.K) by the HRH Sultan of Kedah
