The Departure of His Highness the Sultan and Her Highness the Sultana for the Installation Hall

On the appointed day, His Highness the Sultan and Her Highness the Sultana depart for the Installation Hall, accompanied by the Royal Escorts.

Before the arrival of both the Sultan and the Sultana, groups taking part in the Royal Procession take their places, which will not be far from the Installation Hall. The Installation Procession is led by the Seri Mahraja Lela, under a red 'obor-obor', or royal umbrella. The Seri Mahraja Lela carries with him a long keris.

The Installation Procession comprises officials, each of whom carries one item of the following regalia:

a) Religious Symbol 1
  b) Earthly Symbol 1
  c) Maces 2
  d) Swords 12
  e) The Lance 12
  f) Spears 12
  g) Yellow Royal Umbrellas 16
  h) Yellow, red and green "Tunggul-Tunggul Merawat" 24

The officials carrying the Earth and Religious Symbol must be titled Dato's wearing full ceremonial dress with keris. The Installation procession accompanying the Sultan and the Sultana must move ahead of the Royal Couple.
